1. Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through this website is MeM Group SrlS, with its registered office at Via Reginato, 85/H, 31100 Treviso, Italy, VAT number IT05079580261.
For information or requests relating to your data, please email info@memgroup.eu.
2. What data is processed
- Browsing data: systems that make the website available and protect it may record your IP address, the date and time, the requested resource, the response status and technical information about your browser and device.
- Communications you send voluntarily: if you write to us through your email service, we receive the sender’s address, the message content and any data you choose to provide.
The website does not offer accounts, purchases or newsletter subscriptions. The “Propose a project” page includes a form for collaboration proposals. Google Analytics and advertising profiling tools are not active. Fonts and images are hosted with the website.
Please do not send health data, documents or other personal information that is not necessary for your enquiry.
3. Why we process data
- Website availability and security: technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in making the service accessible, identifying anomalies and preventing abuse, under Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
- Responding to enquiries: data in your communications is used to follow up on your request. The legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract, where relevant, or the legitimate interest in managing correspondence (Article 6(1)(b) or (f)).
- Legal obligations: where necessary, data is processed to comply with applicable obligations or requests from authorities (Article 6(1)(c)).
Writing to us is optional. Without contact details and the necessary information, we may be unable to respond. Sending a message does not subscribe you to promotional lists. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
Project and collaboration proposals
The form requires your name, email, project name, development stage, description and the type of support you are seeking. Your organisation or team, a public link, the resources needed and collaboration objectives are optional. Attachments are not accepted.
The data is used to assess the proposal and manage any subsequent contact. The legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), where applicable, or the legitimate interest in assessing and managing professional proposals received, including those from representatives of organisations (Article 6(1)(f)). Acknowledging this notice is not consent to marketing.
Providing data is optional, but the required fields are needed to identify the proposal and provide contact details. Assessments are carried out by authorised people, without automated scoring or decisions made by algorithms. Submission does not subscribe you to marketing lists.
Completing the form does not automatically save or send its contents: data is transferred only when you choose to submit and the service is available. The form does not store drafts in your browser, and this page does not load Google Analytics. To avoid losing your text, keep a copy on your device before closing the page.
When submission is enabled, the proposal is forwarded to the company mailbox used for assessment. No proposal archive is created on the web server. Anti-spam checks may use a pseudonymised IP address identifier, timestamps and technical submission codes, separately from the content. The form does not use external CAPTCHAs or additional cookies.
Proposals are retained for the duration of the assessment and any subsequent discussion. Proposals that are not taken forward are deleted when they are no longer needed to handle the request, unless documented needs to protect rights or legal obligations require otherwise. Any subsequent relationship requires retention criteria appropriate to its nature. Anti-spam counters are cleaned up when the service is next used, according to a maximum technical window of two hours; hosting logs and backups follow separate criteria to be checked with the provider.
Do not send trade secrets, credentials, health data or unnecessary personal data about others. For confidential materials, agree on the terms and method of sharing first. The following sections also apply to recipients, safeguards and rights.
4. Processing and retention
Data is processed using IT systems, with access restricted to authorised people and security measures proportionate to the nature of the processing.
Technical data is retained for the time needed to operate the service and investigate anomalies or abuse. Retention of communications depends on handling the enquiry, any resulting relationship and applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised; documented needs to protect rights may justify longer retention.
You can request information on the criteria applied to your case by contacting the controller.
5. Who can access the data
Data may be processed by people authorised by MeM Group and providers needed for hosting, email, maintenance and security, appointed as processors where required. Data may be disclosed to advisers or authorities where necessary to fulfil obligations or protect rights.
Personal data is not sold or made publicly available. You can request information about the providers involved by contacting the controller.
6. International transfers
If using service providers involves transferring data outside the European Economic Area, the processing must be accompanied by the safeguards required by Chapter V of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and any necessary supplementary measures. You can ask the controller for information on the safeguards applied.
7. Your rights
In the cases and within the limits provided for by Articles 15–22 of the Regulation, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, email info@memgroup.eu.
If you believe that processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or seek a judicial remedy.
